At the same time he develops feelings for the neighbour's daughter, Ceylan. Ceylan, also elopes and appears to make a wrong choice. The day his mother dies, Mehmet Salih does not wet himself. Bu her death leaves him compeletly alone. Soon afterwards, Mehmet and Ceylan, start living together and Ceylan gives birth to a son. The fatherless baby is like a mirror image of Mehmet Salih, he himself grew up without a father. Knowing that his father won't come back, Mehmet Salih embarks on a new life with Ceylan and her baby.
