As rampant, ever-growing pythons infest the warm Florida Everglades thanks to Dr Nikki Riley's die-hard group of activists, suddenly, Park Ranger, Terry O'Hara, has a lot on her plate. One by one, the slithering invaders are killing the unprepared congregation of indigenous alligators, leading to a drastic but ill-advised countermeasure: to kill a dangerous predator, one needs to come up with an even deadlier protector. As a result, gigantic bone-crushing pythons and gargantuan man-eating alligators wreak havoc on the land, devouring everything in their way. Now, the ultimate battle between species commences, and whoever wins, humans lose. Can Nikki and Terry put aside their differences in the name of survival?

Reel Film ReviewsDavid NusairRarely as much fun as one might've expected...
User ReviewChristopher YBecause, if presented with it, you know you'd watch Debbie Gibson and Tiffany brawl, too.

User ReviewScott Ithe stars of this movie should be commended never have a pair been seen to display such heaving deapth ..
User ReviewNancy CYes, it's complete and utter crapolla. But I was completely and utterly entertained.
User ReviewMichael Gcheesy dialog, unintentional comedy, laughable action, over the top explosions and bad special effects make this enjoyable for those who like a good bad monster movie :-)
User ReviewLeslie DIt's hard to top MegaPiranha but Python/Gatoroid comes pretty close. The ending made me sad though :(
User ReviewJulia LDon't believe the bad reviews! It's funny because it doesn't pretend it's not silly, and it doesn't pretend it's good. Everyone just gets on with acting out their cliches and enjoying themselves.
User ReviewJames TA typical corny sci-fi. It's fun to watch to laugh at something corny.
User ReviewAndrew LThis film is a rare gem from Asylum; which is still not that great. It has two 80's pop starlets going head to head with poorly thought out wildlife tampering resulting in the creation of two giant and ever-growing monster infestations in the Everglades. The acting is casual, the special effects slightly upscale for Asylum, and if you are the type who is bothered by plot holes, it will drive you nuts. That said, it has a bit of playfulness that other offerings lack. Both leads take turns acting like 'irrational chicks', there is a gratifying cat-fight, and an awesome 'bulking up' montage, which, in my book makes this the closest to a winner of any of the latest American mega-monster B-movies I've seen come out of SyFy. Again, notice that only scored three stars from this old-time monster flick fan.
