In April 1991, with big hopes of providing a better life for her family, 17 year old Maricris Sioson arrives in Japan to work as a club entertainer. After 4 months of work, she is admitted into a hospital in Fukushima. Her family is told she had hepatitis, but when they open her coffin they find that she has been beaten and stabbed to death.
