Over 85 minutes and through images of the work he has done over half a century, accompanied by the testimonies of the artist himself and renowned philosophers, writers and art historians such as Jean-François Lyotard, Michel Butor, Vincent Descombes, Bernardo Pinto de Almeida, among others, proposes a profound look that reveals to the viewer the essentials of a work that has been coherently built over the past decades, its place in the History of Portuguese Art of the last 50 years being undeniable. In 1996 the Serralves Foundation and the curator Jean-Hubert Martin dedicated his first retrospective to him and although he has exhibited in recent years in important museums at national and international level, his work is still unknown to many Portuguese. Since the filmed image allows you to easily enter into the details of a work, and draw the viewer's attention to other aspects of a work of art, in an approach enriched by expert testimonies, this documentary - the only one so far dedicated exclusively to the artist - thus allowing his work to be known to a wider audience. It should also be noted that the director Manoel de Oliveira in his 1983 film: "Nice - À propos de Jean Vigo" had recorded some moments of Manuel Casimiro's artistic work carried out in Nice between the 70s and 80s, having rescued some of those moments for this documentary.
