User ReviewJosh DAnother awesome entry in the saga of resurrected super cop Matt Cordell. We really need a fourth "Maniac Cop".
User ReviewBrandon BJe vous recommande aussi et surtout Maniac Trasher qui délivre des scènes surprenantes et vous fais méditer sur la destination des budgets de certains films.
User ReviewJosh Efunny cool film. would love to see them all again
User ReviewRachel sI love the Maniac cop series, the first one had alot more thought behind it, but 2 and 3 are just great fun, I can't belive this is the actual size of zdars face =) Apparently up for a remake *yawn* and special ed of one coming out soon with commentary by Bruce 'almighty' Campbell
User ReviewGeorge CPossibly the best in the series and a brilliant end to the trilogy! Maniac Cop 3 almost leans into the golden age of Hong Kong for a time and give us some exciting gun play, inventive kills and pure entertainment! See it!
User ReviewCarl NMatt Cordell returns once again to dish out his own form of justice. This time he's after a female cop named Kate that was gunned down and framed for killing a civilian. He turns up at the hospital to protect her but also he wants to take her as his bride. Though the plot is a little impractical (compared to the previous efforts) It's still action/horror at its best. Some great set pieces, over the top gun play and some truly remarkable fire stunts that in this day and age would be done with crappy GGI. and as with the other films there is a black humour running throughout. The cast of this film is top notch. Robert Davi reprises his role of Det. Sean McKinney and there are solid turns from Paul Gleason, Robert Forster, Jackie Earle Haley and Ted Raimi.
User ReviewJose RBetter that the 2nd one , good horror movie
User ReviewChris Sthe guy is bak with plenty more blood 2 be spilled.
User ReviewTim SAs with the last film, Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence picks up where its previous entry left off. Again, a little time has passed, but not really that much. Just enough for people to forget about the maniacal policeman so he can go on his homicidal rampage once again. This time around, we're treated to a Bride of Frankenstein-type situation. A female officer is gunned down and framed as a heartless and careless cop while she lies in a coma. Cordell, the Maniac Cop, learns of this and attempts to set things straight for her and take her as his bride via a creepy shaman. Robert Davi returns to the lead, and actually has a little more to do this time around. Robert Z'Dar also returns, and keep watch for small roles by Jackie Earle Haley and Frank Pesce, as well as a cameo by Ted Raimi. The film is infamous for having a lot of problems behind the scenes, with original director William Lustig walking out in the middle of production, but the film still has some merit to it. It's not terrible, but just by putting the films up in a line-up and judging them one by one, it's definitely the least of the two sequels. I'd still recommend it though.
User ReviewAlec NThe third, weakest and final installment of this horror franchise. Cordell is brought back to life with the aid of some black magic to help protect a comatosed police women who has been framed for a murder. Davi is the balls again as he hunts down the Maniac cop. A good soundtrack from Jerry Goldsmith and some comedy gold from Jackie Earle Haley as a junkie stick up man. Not a patch on the first two but a decent end to a great trilogy.
