He speaks honestly about his anger toward God, his feelings of "irrational" self-blame and the fear of losing the only thing left to hold onto: memories."Being able to remember is a gift," Josh says in the film. "I'd much rather have a memory be painful than not have a memory at all." A national outreach for this film was organized by The National Hospice and Palliative Care Association. Love, Josh was released as a film in 2001 and broadcast on HBO Family. It is also a Freddie Award recipient.
