The big issue with The Monsters is the Argentine Northwest as mythological reserve. It's much more than a documentary about the fantastic stories which people tell. It's the investigation of the Myth and the possibilities to film it. To get into the mystery. To explore the mythological and religious dimension of a town, a region, a country.
