| User ReviewMahesh PAbsolutely loved this film. Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh are both surberb and utterly believable and are strongly supported by the rest of the cast. Ok so the plot has a few holes, but then which film doesn't? The sound track sets the mood but is never obtrusive. I would happily play the sound track on it's own as the the music and lyrics are well written and very easy to listen too. If you are into flashy fast paced action films then this is probably not the film for you, however if you like classic style gently moving stories that are acted rather than action led then you will enjoy this film |

It's the only one Indian movie that I have ever seen that can compete with the finest of Hollywood Dramas !! Be it the canvas, background score, cinematography or the design or even for the way of telling the love story ! OMG !! The script itself is fantaboulous. Though it's inspired from the story The Last Leaf...which I read in my childhood !! Brilliant performance by the lead pair espicially by Sonakshi. She stands out !! Must Watch !! Even if it's for your second time watch !! |
| User ReviewDinesh SBest Indian film of 2013. I doubt anything can beat it. My faith in Ranveer Singh is restored and my respect for Sonakshi Sinha has gone from zero to, well, something. This film is a masterpiece. Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap are the perfect combination of art and heart. They, along with Bhavani Iyer, should be extremely proud of such a polished film. |

| User ReviewNilesh JI guess if a movie makes one think for a few days, it must be counted as extremely good in this time and age. Lootera does this despite the second half reliance on the well-known, over-sentimental O'Henry fable. In almost all other movies the lazy pace would have appeared an indulgence. But starting from the backdrop to the casting, acting, music are all a perfection. Artful. A masterpiece. |
