User ReviewTrinity CIncredible movie, classic, one of the best 10 movies in CINEMA HISTORY. I can say it is in the same value with CITIZEN CANE... It is pitty, that most people I know, haven't see this movie... Pitty for them...
User ReviewJack SCheap, trashy and fun. Clever enough not to take itself seriously and lampoon b-movies, while being a darn good one too.
User ReviewMike CI loved this movie, cheese ball b-movie satire at its best. Very funny, the special effects are suprisingly good for such a low budget. It's got some great jabs at the sexist attitudes of the old movies.
User ReviewTim DThis movie is pretty funny. It's like The Producers for B-movies.
User ReviewLee HRubber suits and Tony Curtis in a gravity defying wig. Awesome!
User ReviewJames HIt is understood this is a spoof, and I usually like campy spoofs, but this one wasn't funny, very stupid but not in an enjoyable way. Corny and dumb, even with a decent cast.
User ReviewMichael TWow.. this was probably the ultimate in corniest movies ever made. Not even sure where to begin with this one. Obvious super low budget, actors probably found in a local supermarket, super cheesy effects. It's a movie about a kid trying to get his movie sold off to a studio, so it's a movie within a movie basically and it's all just horrible to watch. More than likely the makers of this were poking fun at themselves, but it's still godawful. Cheese factor: 10/10 Pain factor: 9/10 Best moment: When "The End" showed on the screen.
User ReviewMark NRemaking a 50's alien monster movie is something of a go-to idea as those shoddily beloved flicks were so memorable but like just about every one of these tributes it misses the mark wildly. Curtis is about the only thing worth watching the movie for, he seems to be having enormous fun just being himself, tooling around and laughing to himself that he gets paid for this. 1 star for the movie, 4 stars for seeing Curtis enjoy himself.
