| User ReviewFacebook UGreat acting in this little indie drama-comedy feature about a family trip to Cape Cod, where two sisters - who never got along - are trying to recover from the loss of their oldest most favorite sister, and also trying to recover from their fractious childhood relationship. Universal themes that any gender can relate to. As the lead, Lucy Walters (the sexy subway girl in Shame opposite Michael Fassbender) is truly magnetic, and Ellen Foley, who is best known as Meat Loaf's duet partner on "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is fantastic as the family's mother. Donovan Patton from Blue's Clues also turns in a stellar performance as the beleaguered brother-in-law. At time really hilarious, at times deeply moving, like life itself. Romance, porn magazines, secrets, a deeply weird New Age shopkeeper, whales, and a cute little kid are all along for the ride. Entertaining throughout, and ultimately uplifting. Some strong language and adult situations but no nudity. |
