PolygonKaren HanWhile the film isn’t groundbreaking, it’s an easygoing, unchallenging experience that’s suitable for the season.
The GuardianBenjamin LeeLet It Snow is a prime example of what happens when the Netflix algorithm machine spews out something that actually feels like a real movie. It ticks all the right buzzword boxes for the platform (YA, Christmas, romcom, cast filled with recognisable faces) but does so with such ebullience that you’ll fail to notice, or at least care about, the many strings being pulled throughout.
Movie NationRoger MooreAs weighty as a snowflake, and just as prone to turn to mush at room temperature, Let It Snow is a holiday comedy that sits right in Netflix’s wheelhouse.
Los Angeles TimesNoel MurrayWith its cast of veteran child actors and its baked-in holiday warmth, Let It Snow has some baseline appeal. But like the formulaic Christmas movies that fill the Hallmark Channel this time of year, this film isn’t exactly a timeless classic. It’s more like something to put on in the background, while making cookies or wrapping presents.
RogerEbert.comNick AllenAs a bland addition to the already low-stakes tradition of Xmas rom-coms, Let It Snow could use a whole lot more tinsel.
User ReviewPorter11Loved it! Light-hearted holiday romcom that's perfect for the season. Also loved the bit of LGBTQ representation.
User Reviewbfoore90I enjoyed this film alot more than I thought I would have. Loved the cast, I think Isabella Moher, Shameik Moore, Shameik Moore, Odeya Rush are all super talented. I wish I could have saw more from Jacob Batalon and Miles Robbins though, as they were both super funny in the relatively small amount of screen time they had. I also loved Joan Cusack in this, whom I almost never see enough of anymore. This film was cliche but in a funny way. It has a wonderful, diverse cast and it's never boring like "Knight Before Christmas.
User ReviewHogdionAll I could say about the movie is: Diversity. The major plot-point: The introduction of Matthew Noszka aka JP.
User ReviewGrantD243If you're looking for a new Holiday romance film to watch, "Let It Snow" will probably scratch your itch. It checks all of the boxes to be a slam dunk with teens and really anyone who's into this genre. And I did enjoy it quite a bit. I do think that it falls short in flushing out four storylines in an hour and a half, but I don't think anyone that willingly starts watching this film is going to expecting the best storytelling of the year.
User ReviewItsmayaThis movie is predictable, cheesy and TBH kinda boring.. If you're looking for a cheesy romcom for teens and below this is the movie for you.
