| User ReviewEddie Ayou have to appreciate this movie and not judge it like a conventional movie. IT'S A STORY ABOUT RACING! true and honest racing, the dangers, guts on what it takes to drive those LeMans type racing cars back then before big sponsorships and safety. My personal opinion real men and women race at Le Mans and it is the SUPERBOWL of racing to me. Throw out your conventional thinking of movies and watch it from begining to end in cinema wide screen. |
| User ReviewPeter HI remember the first time i saw this movie i guess i was about 8 yrs old we had met Martin Brundle with his Jaguar in Dereham in Norfolk outside the tyre place there and i was just mesmorised by this film, like stated below there were no special effects in this film and no set but what is more amazing is that the film was shot in the race itself if nothing else it tells you how good Mcqueen was as a driver, The film is more of a documentary really but its filmed at the absolute height of the Porsche and Ferrari duels at Le Mans Fantastic. |
