| User ReviewByron BThere is something in the skill and training of writer/director Greg Carter that makes this low-budget straight to DVD/streaming erotic drama better than the average junk in this genre. The writing and performances are a step above what you usually find in this category. Based on a true story. |
| User ReviewGeorge MThis is an interesting film for many reasons but it's far from being a masterpiece in itself. I enjoyed the story because somehow the film was depicting in an interesting way the slow downfall into exotic dancing of a young woman who thought she could make quick money and get out of the game without problems. This kin of industry bring actually a whole range of issues, shady characters and easy money always comes with a price. The main actress was actually excellent because she could make us believe completely that by day she was a regular girl but by night she was this glamorous lap dancer. The film was well shot and some excellent work was done with the lighting and the dancing choreographies. It's not a film that one watched for the storyline of course but it blended pretty well and the film managed to rise above the lot. It turned out to be pretty decent and entertaining without feeling like a moralistic piece on the dangers of the job. |
