User Review - 6/10 by Luke LLake Placid 3 isnt a masterpiece. It Wasnt GREAT but it wasnt BAD. It was GOOD. ( For what it was) First, The acting, for me, it was good. Second, The scenes were well composed, it was OKAY. ( but kind of predictible Third, The CGI crocodiles, let me say, YES it needed some work i admit. Especially for some "attack" scenes. I think it could have been alot more WORST. But keep in mind that the budget of the movie wasnt those of hollywood. So it makes sense that the CGI was kinda "Blah" a bit. ;) Fourth, I thought the movie needed alot more ACTION. And to be honest, There wasnt alot action, and it seemed they were more focused on the TALKING than the ACTION. Also when the crocodiles attacked the people, I thought it needed more gore. O.O And finally, The ENDING SCENE. Now i wont say the ending but lets just say that it needed more suspense. It could"ve been better, real better. It you like cheesy "monster feature", than this movie is for you. Also, it doesnt really follow from the first movie to the second to this one. Althought i did watched the first but not the second, i guess it didnt really followed from the first. ;) So my rating for this one would be 3.9\5.

User Review - 6/10 by John CI don't recall the last time I saw a movie where the stereotypical "characters who are too stupid to know when to stop and get out of town" was portrayed so much as in this movie. As a fan of creature/monster movies, the original Lake Placid was a movie I enjoyed watching, and, on the surface this movie has alot of the same qualities. Creature and water effects have been turned down some but I'm sure the budget was as well. Acting is also down some, but the croc's many appearances make up for that. In the original Placid, a little old lady was feeding the crocodile, now, the family members she left behind who own the house are out to sell it. Little do they know, the son has continued the tradition and is still feeding the now more than one crocodiles along the shore, even resorting to shoplifting meat to do so. But, as the supply of meat dwindles and as elk and college kids start coming to the lake, the crocodiles resort to once again finding their own meals. Even the poachers are no match for the mighty croc's! Anyone who secretly (or even openly) roots for the beasts to eat the people, this is another decent movie to sit down and enjoy.
User Review - 6/10 by Gimly MA family moves to a lake house where the owner had died from a crocodile attack. The young son finds baby crocs and secretly cares for them as they grow into adulthood. Of course they become a menace. Same bad cgi as the previous film, but much better overall.
