User ReviewJesse K4/5 Although the retro aesthetic might not be perfectly executed (some shots seem quite modern, except with a filter put over it) Lake Nowhere is a very enjoyable experience. The cliches don't feel like a hindrance, the violence is plenty of fun and it never overstays its welcome. This is a get in, get out experience that knows what it wants to pull off and doesn't allow room for filler (although this also means there's next to no character development - but does that really matter?). Overall I simply had a great time watching it.
User ReviewFrédéric H"Lake Nowhere" is a slasher horror B movie which actually is not bad with the cheesy special effects and acting. 50 minutes of entertaining fun.
User ReviewCarlos ICool little slasher throwback. It's a little too short and the VHS gimmick starts to wear thin, but thankfully it stops a quarter way through. This would be ideal sandwiched with another feature like it and presented as Grindhouse 2.
