When Demetrio (Jorge Mistral) arrives at a mine to meet his brother Ricardo, he finds that his sibling has committed suicide for the love of a woman. Demetrio promises to avenge Ricardo's death, so he travels to La Habana where he meets Verónica (Marga López), whom he suspects was the reason of Ricardo's demise.
