| User ReviewByron BA heart-warming and tragic short film, which I saw at the Cleveland International Film Festival 2014. Sonika Chopra stars as an elementary school teacher, who, along with a very nervous bus driver, struggles to keep her rambunctious students safe and calm on their way home from a field trip as violence begins to break out around India. As the synopsis states, it is "inspired by a true story." Kush is the one Sikh student in Gita's class. The innocent young boy begins to recognize the political-religious divide that exists in his country and must be extremely careful. The teacher does the right thing in protecting Kush, but is it too late? |
