User Review - 8/10 by Deb KSomeone actually came up with some original ideas for this scary film . I found it genuinely entertaining. I was concerned it was going to be really college-y due to the typical pop-rock party beginning scene, but it quickly changed pace. Being a sucker for ghost/demonic/satanic flicks, this was way better than other horrors I have watched recently.
User Review - 6/10 by Marischa BAfter the first 30 minutes I knew I couldn't expect much from this movie. Almost all typical "ghost thriller" clichés are used. Nothing new or unexpected. I tried to give this movie a chance anyway, but at the end I still was disappointed. The creepy scenes aren't very creepy. The story doesn't make sense sometimes (one scene she hates him, next scene she loves him..) and as mentioned the story is just too predictable to entertain. I watched it till the end because I hoped it would get better or more thrilling at the end, but that wasn't the case. You shouldn't watch this movie if you are not a big fan of this type of films, and even if you are, you probably won't get too excited.

User Review - 6/10 by Al MI don't know why, but I enjoyed Kill Katie Malone despite its being a totally unoriginal piece of supernatural-slasher horror. Perhaps it was the absolute idiocy of all the characters, but I found the movie entertaining and funny throughout. Never scary of course, Kill Katie Malone might delight fans of truly bad horror cinema.

User Review - 4/10 by BLACTACULAR .Kill Katie Malone was so disappointing,the only bright spot was looking at Steven Colletti whom is very attractive but his acting and demeanor is more suited for a PG movie at best,you can take the boy out of Laguna Beach but! The effect's consisted of the actors throwing themselves on the ground and into walls as if a malevolent force was doing it..maybe a drop of blood and weak storyline. I say skip it,If you think this is going to scare you or gross you out ,wrong,it will only bore you to death.I saw it for free on cable and still wanted my time back. For synopsis read the one given.

The idea is that college idiots buy a ghost on eBay, but when the jewelry box and locket arrive, the ghost they release starts to help them for some weird reason, until it starts killing those who put in cash towards its purchase. Huh? It's just paint by numbers haunting stuff without any sort of nudity or what have you to keep your interest. Pass.
User Review - 2/10 by Dave JMonday, June 2, 2014 (2010) Kill Katie Malone HORROR Another low budget, straight to rental movie starring Dean Cain as Robert pleading with his daughter to not discard this small metal box, and something happens to her as a result without the movie telling viewers what. Then the movie jumps to this small group of 3 college teens with one of them bidding on this 'ghostly' box on-line which runs like EBay. By the time they get the metal box, it said that it would grant some wishes. And as the movie is progressing, as it turns out, the name Katie Malone is a deathly ghostly figure who's lived a life of cruelty and is craves death to anybody connected to her. No police involve or any type of questioning. Extremely forgettable movie overall. 1/2 a star out of 4
