User Review - 8/10 by Finn BHilarious stories of The West Baptist Church protesting his movies and how he used them to his advantage.
User Review - 8/10 by Guido Sthis is inspirational kevin Smith like you'll get most of the time on smodcast. some sad stuff in here but a positive spin is put on it
User Review - 8/10 by Cole MA lot of the topics Kevin goes over in his new book "Tough Shit" but the man is very inspirational; a guy who knew zilch about filmmaking and didn't grow up in a big studio household who just put himself out there, wanting a grasp of expressionism and art, and made something of himself. It's his 'don't-give-up'-attitude and drive that is essential for all young indie filmmakers such as myself who shouldn't listen to the world tell us we can't do it, we're failures or going to fail, and to get a real job. Yeah, well... to hell with negativity and derision. It's the dreamers, the movers and shakers, who make this world go round. So, grab a camera and make something.
User Review - 8/10 by Bill BJust another one of his Q & A performances, in which he takes what are generally simple questions and waxes poetic for a half hour about what could generally be fairly succinct answers. His digressions are usually pretty amusing, and this one is no exception. Worth a rental for fans, dunno if it'd win anyone new over.
User Review - 8/10 by Tim SIf you're looking for more Kevin Smith concert footage like his original DVD release of An Evening With Kevin Smith and you felt somehow let down by the subsequent releases then Kevin Smith: Burn in Hell may not totally be what you want. Like the last DVD release of Too Fat For 40, he more or less answers only a couple of questions but with very long answers. I found this one a bit more engaging though as Smith gets deeply personal, almost to the point of bringing you to tears when he talks about the death of his father. It's a very personal moment, coupled with his views on filmmaking in general. I'd say it's a step up from the previous releases, even though it's more or less just like them. The material is much better, even though there's a very small amount of it. No big deal though. What's there is funny and entertaining enough.
