Amit, an educated young man, an owner-driver of his taxi comes to Sapna's rescue when she is under threat and gratitude turns into love. The alcoholic step-father has designs on Sapna, and tries to exert his authority on her, resulting in Sapna assaulting him. As a result, she serves a jail term. Amit wants to marry Sapna but his family won't allow him to marry an ex-convict. How many more barriers will Sapna and Amit have to break in order to fulfill their love?
