Failed filmmaker Zachary Wells is convinced by his best friend and hotshot director Topher into replacing him as a judge in their film school's annual festival. Zach's one-night stand with a student backfires when that student walks into an interview the next morning calling himself Danny Reyes, the name Zach went by when he attended the school. And Danny's film, "Judas Kiss," is a finalist in the competition Zach is judging. Zach's film, also "Judas Kiss," won the festival years before. As Zach scrambles for answers, a mysterious, chain-smoking campus tour guide, counsels him: "Change the kid's past, change your future." But how? | Blu-ray.comBrian OrndorfUndone by half-baked characters and inconsistencies, keeping focus off the key elements of heartache Tepnapa and Pedraza hope will be strong enough to define the viewing experience. |
User ReviewMichael AEasily the best film of 2011 in my eyes, and not because I invested in it. Tepnapa creates a wonderful fantasy world with a great plot, interesting characters and locales. Richard Harmon steals the shows as Danny Reyes, his eyes are hauntingly beautiful and his acting abilities are incredible. The entire film might be a bit confusing but it's absolutely wonderful start-to-finish.
User ReviewLee MAmazing movie. Great opportunity to explore second chances!!
User ReviewAmanda CGreat movie. Well done. Thou I thought the time travel thing is a little over done, It was well put together and is a great come back story. I loved the tense between Danny and Chris. How they almost getting together but didn't. And I liked the ending.

User ReviewTim NI liked it ending was not what I expected.
User ReviewTim DNear the top of my list of favorite gay-themed movies. The science fiction and fantasy touches are light, but really drive the movie forward and make it stand out from other movies. The idea that, inexplicably, you could go back into the past and help your younger self make a different pivotal decision is fun to think about. I was also impressed by Sean Paul Lockhart, who has had a difficult and public life to date, but seems to be gaining confidence in more mainstream fare.
User ReviewMonika RI liked it because it reminded me of Twice in a Lifetime. <3
User ReviewJohn BMaybe the premise is a little catchy, but what worked for me was that all foru main characters were so likeable, even "bad boy" Shane! Richard Harmon very much dominates the film. The main song "Crash" (with the "Listen Now" lyrics" is of the kind that usually gets into Oscar races (similar to "Let it Go" from "Frozen"). I saw this film the day after seeing "Tree of Life" in Minneapolis, so the sci-fi premise seemed continuous to me.
User ReviewPrivate UI liked the movie a lot but wonder how they could find 2 great actors with those smoldering bedroom eyes
