There are interviews with his teachers, colleagues, family, friends and training partners who paint a picture of just who Judd is. How did a fresh faced kid from Melbourne, Australia end up living in Japan in his formative years training under his idol. How does Judd live, what are his inspirations and motivations and what is the real meaning of what he is about to attempt. And now that he has accepted this challenge, what sort of physical preparation and mental training is required to undertake such a dangerous and extreme martial arts event. Its a video for all types of people not just martial artists documenting the life of Judd Reid prior to and during his 100 man fight in Japan. The documentary follows Judd Reid though his preparation for the 100 man fight in Thailand. It goes back an interviews his original instructor in Australia and many of his friends including Nicholas Pettas, former live in student of Mas Oyama. I have watched this with my wife and friends from different walks in life and they have all taken something away. At least three of my friends have started training at the gym and getting healthy again - this is the kind of inspiration I found it to contain. Could be a good documentary for teenage kids who may not be as receptive to parents and teachers and teaches to never ever give up. Highly recommended to watch and add to your favorite list. |

I've been training Kyokushin for 3 years and was so inspired by the tough training Judd endures everyday to train for this ultimate challenge. | User ReviewDaniel S100 Man Fight inspired me to train more. It's amazing and I can see how hard it is to take this challenge. You probably have to train yourself even further in the woods/mountains just like Sosai Oyama if you want to take 100 fights 3 times in 3 consecutive days. You literally have to have punches and kicks stronger than any other kyokushin black belts. One Strike, certain death. OSU!!! |
