User Reviewdoris cThe most wonderful movie about my fave city: Paris. Real History!
User ReviewJason MAn absolutely brilliant war movie about the liberation of Paris. It's one of those movies from an era where everyone wanted 'in' to a commemorative WWII picture. A definite must-see!
User ReviewPrivate UOne of those movies in which I found myself thinking, "Well, it was made in 1966, so they were doing their best." Entertaining, but kind of hokey for modern cynics. A big deal's made of the script but I found it a little stiff.
User ReviewGuillaume SExcellent film retracant les derniers jours de Paris sous l'occupation et traitant des differentes rivalites entre resistants. Contient bon nombre des monstres sacres du cinema francais.
User ReviewDavid KA tour de force (no pun intended), with zillions of famous actors doing cameos in three languages. Excellent epic movie. Not bad history lesson, either.
User ReviewMed CMerci France 3 d'avoir repassé ce chef d'oeuvre du cinéma. Tout est dit.
User ReviewStuart MJ'adore ce film ! Je l'à (C)coute presque chaque annà (C)e dà (C)but juin !
User Reviewjames cWonderful film about the French resistance in Paris in 1944. Brilliant factual drama
User ReviewMatthieu CExcellent film! Must-see for history buffs! Watching a film 41 years after it was made and in Black and white, really good.
User ReviewRick LDescribing this film, about the French Resistance's attempts to liberate Paris, as an epic - probably doesn't do it justice...one gets the feeling that the real Liberation of Paris was a lot quicker to conclude than this film. But there are great performances and its both exciting and moving. A classic.
