User ReviewRosa KI had just seen this on the weather channel this movie is not that bad even if it is old.
User ReviewPhillip TNot as great as the source material, but still a superbly acted, beautifully shot and disturbingly compelling film. Cinema level work in a tv-level picture.
User ReviewLouis LThere is an exhilaration to doing something difficult that makes difficult things worth striving for. But this is a cautionary tale about hubris. To always remember that these things worth doing are hard, even when you have done them before. Because something always changes. One of the main characters exclamation of "I am invincible!" starts as bravado and turns to irony. Liked it for its way of drawing you into caring about the characters, even though you really only see one person's point of view and he spends way too much time forshadowing the events to come. They could have edited it better for the movie version without too much trouble. But worth watching as a cautionary tale.
User ReviewSandra SBased on a true story about Everest mountain and how the journey is. This movie show you how to survive in pursuing our goals. I'd like to hiking, and when you climbing or hiking, it really shows who the real you are, and what kind of person are you, whether you want to share something that you still have or not. This movie is control your emotion. And miracle helps them who left alive. This is a great movie to see. And also good novel to read.
