User ReviewMichael CThe film is not as bad as I was led to believe. There is promise of what could have been. "Interstate" pays homage to one of the earlier films in the film noir genre, "Detour" and is kind of a road-noir. There is, however a bright light and a revelation to this film. The emergence of a young face well-suited to film noir. A very gifted actress by the name of Alexandra Ackerman, who should have a long and prosperous career in film. As the female lead, Veronica she is alluring and seductive. You can't take your eyes off her. She is every guy's vision of a goddess. There is something captivating about her. While this may not be a great film, the mere presence of this actress makes it worth watching. I look forward to seeing other films with her in the lead. For this reason alone, I recommend the film.
User ReviewRinnah AThis was... interesting. Not at all what I expected. But even if it was slow, it kept me watching until the end.
User ReviewLee MStolen cars, stolen identities, mucho drugs, seedy road-side motels, skanky hot chicks, double-crossing, blackmail, rape and murder -- clearly hitchhiking across the country is awesome!
User ReviewSalman Cif you have nothing to do and uhave no other option for a movie available then go for it...otherwise....
User ReviewSean DBad acting and bad story make this a bad movie.
User ReviewDavid Snow Hitchhicking sucks thanks to this movie
User ReviewJason HPretty poor all around. Unconvincing performances and an overwrought plot with twists that failed to engage and often seemed downright stupid.
User ReviewLaverne RThis movie was full of whiny, annoying characters for the most part. It had a few minutes of of my attention, then went flat until the end. It's only redeeming qualities were two great landmarks: 'Jesus 66', a burger joint featuring a giant crucified Jesus holding up a hamburger, and the 'Tiki Motel' which comes complete with an A-frame sporting a fire breathing tiki head, two giant Ku carvings, and a flickering neon sign. Bonus tiki sightings: dashboard tiki & acid induced dancing dollar tree tiki.
User ReviewJeff TI hated the lead character in this movie. He was a whiny, spineless coward who consistently made bad decisions. The whole movie sucked, especially the ending. The only cool thing in the whole movie was when they showed an old diner on Route 66 - it had a giant Jesus on the cross, holding up a gigantic hamburger... hella cool!
