They intend to take a bottle of secret fracking fluid, planning to expose the effects on the planet by selling the knowledge onto the highest bidder. After stealing the fluid, they walk through miles of moorland, in order to remain concealed from the authorities who are searching for them. Caught in a storm, they are desperate to find somewhere to rest for the night. The pair seek shelter in a seemingly abandoned farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. After a lackluster search, Laura and John settle down for the night, away from the wind and the rain. But in his avarice, John explores alone. Waking to the sound of her father collapsing, Laura goes looking for him, only to be confronted by a mutilated beast residing in the house. With nowhere to hide, Laura must escape the twisted being, or suffer a horrible demise.
