User ReviewThomas HI love how they couldn't afford to rent the streetcars, so they just bought tickets and filmed anyway. You can see the people on the street looking right at the camera!! Thoroughly enjoyable. Though it would be nice if Lon Chaney Jr's character could speak.
User Reviewconnor wYet another brilliant performance by Lon Chaney Jr. pity he only says 2 lines in this whole movie but its his facial expressionas that count
User ReviewJay BA nice trashy B-movie. Marian Carr is brilliant.
User ReviewMark WAlthough the formula has been done several thousand times, the movie was still decent enough to hold my attention. Lon Chaney did put in a decent performance, he seems good at the silent aggressive monster type roles and the story was just interesting enough to keep things flowing! Worth the watch, but it doesn't tread on any new ground.
User ReviewSarah AWhat was the deal with the close-ups on his eyes? Love the MST3K guys when the girl is talking in the car and they want her to shut up.
User ReviewWayne HHow many times has Chaney been brought back to life with electricity? This movie's pretty boring for the most part, but it's also kind of cool in some parts too like the ending.
User ReviewBill BWatched the MST3K version, which was amusing, and as with most of their material, I don't know if I could imagine watching it without the robots making snide comments, as the film itself appears pretty dreadful. Worth a look in the MST3K version, I can't really recommend it otherwise.
User ReviewSV GIndestructible Man was a fair crime/thriller for it's time, starring Lon Chaney Jr. It's a low budget film and at the time he may have been a little too old for the role, however his talents still shine through and more than make up for that. It wasn't the most memorable film, it's a B movie - but if a fan of Lon Chaney Jr., I'd still suggest seeing this.
User ReviewPascal VThe interresting aspect remains in the Lon Chaney Jr likable vilain character and his relation to the Marylin Monroe lookalike Marian Carr...
User ReviewCraig TWorth watching for the great locations in '50s Los Angeles, especially the Bradbury Building and the original Angels Flight funicular railway. The story itself is a cross between cheap '50s atomic-age science fiction and a noir detective story. It isn't bad, and there are a lot of recognizable faces.
