The German police officer Jo Hoffman is lured into a trap during a police raid on a ship in Barcelona -- all his colleagues are shot, the cocaine is gone. Now Hoffman is wanted for murder, he flees to Mallorca. There he meets Ines and her husband Vincent, who's bound to a wheelchair. Ines offers Jo shelter, if he helps her to renovate their villa.
