The movie captures the mood perfectly and is beautifully acted, in particular by Guy Pearce, and Mirando Otto who play the parents. |

It's depiction of the real-life Australian crime, dramatic, and sometimes, even disturbing scenes in the flick gives the audience a slice of what has occurred. Gives a drastic twist to the normal, 'missing-person, hot detective gets the case solved' movie. This really would give that good bolt the watcher is highly recommended to see. |
| User ReviewvisitorQ Snot since the talented Mr Ripley has there been such an amazing portrayal of the desire to live another life. without giving too much away i think that this movie was fantastic. shows different perspectives of one event, and is acted beautifully. i really don't understand why more people aren't crazy about this movie. i thought it was moving, and such a deep portrait of mental illness and the long ingrained need we all have to get our parents approval. |
