There is one transgender woman who is loved by nearly every person in Papua New Guinea. The iconic recording artist and legendary entertainer Moses Moshanty Tau is a national hero and a beacon to the transgender community of the entire South Pacific. Filmed over a weekend in the fall of 2017 and including her last live performances, I'm Moshanty. Do You Love Me? is an introduction and a musical tribute to the career of the transgender activist with a mother's heart, teeth of gold and the voice of a coronet. Hear her journey from a tiny Motuan village to a mis-gendered public figure at the top of the South Pacific music industry.
