| User ReviewSonia OThis film accurately depicted a slice of St. Ignatius's early life, and dealt intelligently and fairly with difficult periods like his dangerous brushes with the Spanish Inquisition, his long convalescence from a cannon injury, and his early romanticization and later Christian repentance of the warrior life. This film deserves a sequel, and it's a shame that an excellent film like this with superb, capable actors, great settings, and a stirring musical score was marketed to so few theaters. I went with a group of friends, and we all were enthralled. A must see to understand the origins of the Order of Jesuits. |
