Full Plot Details

In Rio de Janeiro, the wealth Dora breaks her relationship with her boyfriend, the alienated and vagabond aspirant writer Daniel O'Neil, and leaves him. Without a place to live, he looks for shelter in the small apartment of his fat and lonely best friend Meg. When Daniel gets a free ride with Meg's neighbor Macula, the police chase the guy, who is a drug dealer, and Macula asks Daniel to hide two packs of cocaine for him. Daniel has an affair with Meg's friend Barbara, a complicated woman, and feels a great attraction for Barbara's aunt Raquel. When Meg is fired from her job, Daniel decides to sell the drugs in his possess, getting in trouble with Macula's gang and the police.
