Housefull 2 is about the Kapoor family. Daboo and Chintu are brothers but they hate each other to the core. Even their wives and daughters hate each other. Both claim that they are going to get the richest son-in-law for their daughter. Aakhri Pasta, a marriage counselor, brings Jai's parents to Chintu, but Pasta says the wrong things and Chintu abuses Jai's father, who suffers a heart attack. Sure, some scenes were copied from that insignificant Amanda Bynes movie from a while back, some scenes had no connection to the story whatsoever and the end dragged on a bit. Considering that the "confusion comedy" genre of bollywood is usually a hit or miss, though, this was definitely a hit. Something about the dialogues and the chemistry of the actors just clicked really well. If you're a fan of the first movie, or of the "confusion comedy" genre (eg Hera Pheri, No Entry) this is a must see! |
