In a suburban community, Rusty, a small put-upon mutt, gets a new neighbor with a gorgeous saluki, Sasha, who is recently retired from the show dog business. Unfortunately, the more macho dogs, like Napoleon, hijacks her attentions for a party and Rusty accepts the inevitable. That night, Napoleon's drunken advances severely offend her and she storms off after clobbering him.
