User ReviewSimon SThis is classic sci-fi horror. In the vein of the Twilight Zone and other classic sci-fi. Camp enough to be enjoyable, not so much it becomes farce. I definitely recommend this show.
User ReviewAlex HAs plenty of other reviews have noted, Horror Hotel falls right in line with the latest wave of campy horror flicks that hark back to 50's flicks and beyond. It's cheesy in a delightful way, but layers in a creepy undertone within almost all of the 6 vignettes. The acting seems intentionally stifled at points and this works to not only create comedy, but also add an aura of unease about all of the characters. Needless to say, amidst the clones and the aliens and the brain robbers, if you enjoy odd-ball sci-fi or an homage to the golden age of horror, this is well worth a watch.
User ReviewAnthony SIf you love dark campy horror with an old fashion feeling then Horror Hotel is perfect for you. Loved the colorful art direction.

User ReviewJeff OA very well made indie genre film! This film has a cool look and style. There's an aggro quirkiness in the pacing, writing and acting that reminded me of those zany late night movies from the late 80's VHS hey day. Also I'm thinking Tales from the Crypt meets Re-Animator meets Space Truckers! The special effects were well executed and the filmmakers made great use of what I'm guessing was a low or tiny budget and resources.
User ReviewVincent RThrowback to the anthology horror/farce film genre. This reminded me of anthology and vignette films like "Tales from the Crypt." Nice that they had the consistency of the same hotel/motel setting. Definitely an indie budget, reusing the same hotel rooms vignette after vignette. A bit more humor and outlandish farce than horror with a distinct altered or alternate reality feel in every Segment. If you enjoy strange realities like the Twilight Zone, you will love this. I really enjoyed Segment 4, Brain Robbers in Love - the comeuppance that smug uptight lady got was satisfying and poetic.
User ReviewBrian GThis felt like a dream come true for me. A meeting of the minds of Tarantino in the Twilight Zone in this cool dystopian futuristic film of vignettes. The writing has a fun yet suspenseful vibe and the themes played on me in a similar way that Black Mirror did. Great performances suspenseful writing with great twists and turns. Amazing score too! I am excited for more from this director.
User ReviewMaria MIt's funny at first glance, but at the end you understand the horror of all these stories gathered together. Horror is not a genre in this case. It is about the idea of the degeneration and about the fearful transformation from biological and spiritual species to synthetic one. We are witnessing the death of the feminine and the disappearance of the masculine. The last man on earth dies in the last story. The world is filled with the sociopaths. In my opinion the brightest episodes are Brain Robbers in Love and Life after Men. Deborah Childs is simply amazing actress.
