| User ReviewPrivate UThis is a brilliant movie...either that or brilliantly bad...either way unforgettable. I watched it in the first place 'cos I totally was in love with Ming Na Wen (Joy Luck Club, Single Guy - tv show). Also starring liquid terminator guy (Robert Patrick) as an assasin in Hong Kong, China just before the city was handed over from British rule to the Chinese government. This movie (despite the lavish Hong Kong city-scape) reeks of "made for cable" with tons o' nudity (mostly female) and tons o' gunplay type violence. A great, great movie overall...never been released on dvd, and now plain hard to get...although I scored a vhs copy on e-bay for $1.00 american 2 or 3 years ago! |
