A man wakes up to find himself locked in a very tiny, cramped concrete corridor, in which he can barely move. He doesn't remember why he is there or how he got there. He has a terrible stomach injury and is slowly bleeding to death. He begins to edge his way along the narrow maze-like corridors, only to see other people undergoing their own horrible tests though holes in the walls. Unable to find a way out, he finally gives up on the struggle and gives in. Barely clinging to his sanity he creeps forward with the last ounces of his strength and meets a woman in a place full of floating corpses. The man and the woman both try to recall where they came from, but their memories are so uncertain that they are not even sure they want to return. The man insists on giving up but the woman maintains that it was not her fault and refuses to give up. Reluctantly he agrees to help her, as she attempts to swim past the corpses. Neither of them can imagine the incredible end to the journey.

User ReviewJussi KA look into human relationships and the effects of choices we make.
User ReviewHollie TMy favorite Shinya Tsukamoto film and my favorite short film. This is a really viscera and trippy movie that leaves much to the audience's imagination. Also, there is relatively little dialogue, which suits the film perfectly.
User ReviewJohnny BVery strange and creepy. To be expected from this director.
User ReviewShaun MClaustrophobic, minimal, basic and creepy as hell. It's amazing how effective a small and "simple" movie like this can be. Exactly the kind of movies I like : no action, no big scenes or over-explaining of every little thing that happens. Tsukamoto is in my top 3 of all-time greatest directors with Haze as one of the main reasons.
User ReviewMichael TDark & Claustraphobic. Intense & Unnerving. Psycholgical Horror At It's Surreal & Disturbing Best.
User ReviewSteve GI have heard many people were disappointed by this, and honesly I can't seem to figure out why... Tsukamoto is kidnapped and wakes up in a tinycramped tunnel, and most of the film has him struggling to get out, while going through some "obstacles"...he finally reaches a point where he meets a mysterious female who gives him a bit of hope to keep going...the end genuinely stayed with me.
User ReviewGary APour faire court, on va dire c'est "CUBE" en bien....
User ReviewChristian MA mix between SAW and Cube, this horrifying little film is sure to give everyone the creeps, very claustrophobic, Well crafted Short!
User Reviewemily hUltimately a little anticlimactic, but it's short and sweet, and features one of the most excruciating cringe-inducing teeth-related scenes of all time.
User ReviewRiff JThis is an amazing movie. It's strange, frightening .. a low budget made by a master director.
