Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzThere's nothing much about this man-hater melodrama that held my interest.
User ReviewPrivate UWow!!! JC is a very stern, coniving housewife. Such a shrew! Finally her husband catches on when she goes to his boss to keep him from a job promotion that would take him out of the country. I think this movie more closely resembles my interpretation of who she was in real life. Very cool movie.
User Reviewlars mthe best version of this movie(done before with roz russell) and joan as good as ever as the woman more in love with her home than the people around her. and one of her last very cool hair styles on screen!
User ReviewAshley HHarriet Craig is an excellent film. It is about Harriet Craig who holds more regard for her home and its possessions than she does for any person in her life. Joan Crawford and Wendell Corey give incredible performances. The screenplay is well written. Vincent Sherman did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama. Harriet Craig is a must see.
User Reviewclaire xJC is really good as the controlling wife.
User ReviewMary CHarriet Craig is a nightmare - the character, not the movie. The movie, I thought, was well done indeed. Glad I hit the DVR button.
User ReviewLotti KJoan Crawford playing herself reeeeally well: a conniving, neat-freak shrew. Maybe I'm a huge queen, but I could watch that shit all day long.
User ReviewAlia PThis is basically Joan Crawford as: Joan Crawford. So just try to imagine that. It's actually fun to watch because I want her to get her due at the end.
User ReviewPaul Dscary lady, , living nightmare, but great
User ReviewSanity Assassin !Joan Crawford is perfect in the role of a selfish, plotting and controling woman who riuns the lives of everyone around her. There's even a scene where she wears a suit that makes her look uncanily like a vulture.
