User ReviewIan CThis is priceless and has to be seen to believed. It rips of Terminator, has arm wrestling competitions, shit special effects, the legend that is John Saxon and a manhunt. The drag through the desert really cracked me up. The balls.
User ReviewShawn WEnjoyed this one. A cyborg programmed to kill finds his conscience. Best part is the arm wrestling at the bar including the picture gallery of past arm wrestling champions which featured Magnum T.A., Terry Funk, Hillbilly Jim, and Ivan Koloff.
User ReviewFilmGrinder S"I can't let him get away, go after him with the lazer."-Turner (John Saxon)
User ReviewSimon PBudget Italian-American Terminator rip-off/cash-in, although it's ultimately a vintage '80s action flick that astoundingly blends Cyborg with Over The Top and pumps out an excellent soundtrack too!
User ReviewGreg SA Cyborg is programmed to kill Scientist, however he backs out of it when he loses his memory and does'nt know who he is,now on the run,the Government are out to track him down and destroy him,Cheesy Macho Man bullshit Action film which is entertaining as hell.
User ReviewMark Ba euro-terminator knock off featuring john saxon
User ReviewMichael WEuro trash Terminator rip off that is actually a lot of fun once it gets going. If you are able to forgive it blatant plagiarisms you shouldn't be too disappointed @ the high action energy that actually serves up. I was unbelievably thankful that John Saxon was in this & actually brandished some heavy artillery. I almost wept when he had his heart ripped out @ the end. It was almost as if I had my heart ripped out as well. Hardly an original idea to be found but what the fuck. It makes for enjoyable low grade no demand entertainment. Shit it even sorta rips off Over The Top w/ an arm wrestling subplot. Keep an eye out for the arm wrestling champion pictures that include the likes of professional wrestlers like Hillbilly Jim
User ReviewBo LIt is what it is, a B-flick. But it's not dull. This is a commendable trait for a film such as this, and it sure has it's moment. Worth watching for fans of the genre who hopefully can appreciate things like bad guys with awesome shades, arm wrestling (Indian style) and budget cyborgs.
User ReviewTim SI would have to say that Hands of Steel (AKA Vendetta Dal Futuro, AKA Arms of Steel, AKA Atomic Cyborg, AKA Return of the Terminator) is one of the more entertaining bad movies that I've seen lately. It has all the ingredients to be a totally boring action movie, but it has stuff coming right out of left field to keep you awake. It also not only is a ripoff of The Terminator, but also many other action movies at the time. Not only do you get a human cyborg, but you also get a redneckathon with lots of arm wrestling, tow trucking and 18 wheeling hijinks. Don't get me wrong though. It's definitely not a good movie, but it has plenty of WTF moments, craziness and unintentional comedy to keep you entertained. It also has John Saxon in it.
User ReviewVesa RThis is one of those films that is just bad in almost every way. Particularly bad is the acting and the direction. The plot is so stupid, badly brought to the screen with extremely poor writong. Cheap and unappealing.
