An American named Muprhy is in the Phillipines after the invasion of Pearl Harbor and wants to get out but lost all his money gambling. When the Japanese invade, he desperate to get out. Murphy meets a priest who's among the ones that are being evacuated and has a seat on a plane but he prefers to remain. So Murphy takes his place on the plane.
