Müller also asks Konrad to undo the firing of impulsive simpleton woodworker Thomas Meiting having publicly ear-boxed his employer Wolfgang Brandner for an alleged affair with his wife Sabine. Konrad takes risks and wrestles with his conscience no less then the curate in fighting their good causes, whatever it takes.
