She now returns with her boyfriend and step brother, to sell the family property. There, they uncover the key to Jamie's disturbing past, and the horrifying secrets long suppressed by the town leader, Larkin. Now, a new strain of parasite has emerged, and threatens the island once again. Jamie struggles to survive and escape the obsessive pursuit of the local islanders who know that she has inherited more than she could ever have imagined.

User ReviewKyle JMircea Monroe is FANTASTIC!!! And sooo HOT!! For an independent movie this is great. I was on the edge of my seat.
User ReviewJustin BI liked the premise even though it has been done before
User ReviewJohn WMeh. I rented some stinkers tonight! Still fun, though.
User ReviewPaul SBy no means chilly enough to deliver the Cronenbergian frissons promised by the title - a bigger influence would appear to be Eli Roth's "Cabin Fever" - it nevertheless pursues some intriguing, unexpected tangents... Writer-director Cowan gives his characters money and relationship issues to contend with as well as the obvious creepy-crawlies, and while the action sequences are strictly TV-level, the FX likewise, the ending is typical of a film with an engaging sense of mischief: one of the central quartet, who's brought her accordion to the island for some reason, is first introduced drawing a felt-pen moustache on the reluctant object of her affections.
User ReviewDarknessAngel Fnot as good as slither but worth the watch
User ReviewDonna LKept glancing on my bed thinking I'd seen something crawl. Not bad for an independent film.
User ReviewRomano CNot that good and a strange storyline. One piece of genius though the town name - "Kittyhunk" whoever came up with this is a genius and nearly pissed myself when the actors are trying to keep a straight face saying it
User ReviewMike LA cheesy, made for tv style movie...maybe ok for a rainy day but that's about it...the acting was fair and the script and action were forgettable, to say the least. There are much better movies of this genre to sink your teeth in to...
User ReviewJohn PAn interesting premise but the film's bogged down by a low budget where in this case it needs it to look good,& all no name actors & actress's who are all terrible,Could have maybe been decent but just isn't,SKIP IT!!!
