However, Kurt's career is soon threatened by Joe (Austin Meehan), a lowly mechanic and aspiring car thief, who will blindly try to up Kurt at his own game, deaf to the consequences. Meanwhile, romance buds for Kurt with Emilie (Kara Rosella), a young mother with complications of her own. Kurt finds an opportunity to escape his low lifestyle and seek redemption with Emilie and her deaf daughter Claire (Rhyan O'Leary). Kurt's personal and professional life are speeding towards a dangerous intersection.
