Under the Radar - 3/10 by Rachel VenutiInstead of a fun, playful investigation into the enduring allure of wearing black, we get an unfocussed mishmash of overgrown Goths with no discernible beginning, middle, or end-Goth Soup, if you will.
User Review - 8/10 by David CIt starts off very boring and uninteresting, but as you learn more about the goths I think you start to grow to like the movie. Especially when later the music is "music box" versions of The Cure's Just Like Heaven and Siouxsie & the Banshees' Spellbound. In the end, I loved the goths and I really liked this doc.
User Review - 4/10 by Christopher SBland documentary isn't much more than a shallow examination of the goth subculture, focusing on a handful of over-the-hill goths who aren't nearly as interesting as they think they are. It may sound interesting in concept, but there's not much here to recommend.
