An obvious rip-off (or maybe remake) of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers but inventive special effects give it a life of its own.

Saw it really late on TCM and it felt like one of those movies, as a kid you, shouldn't watch cause it was on so late and it's subject matter wasn't exactly appropriate, but you do anyway and you end up being hypnotized by it. Tarantino used alot of references to it in Kill Bill.
