The Earth is headed for disaster and when an archeological research team visits Infant Island to find out why, they discover two tiny women who reveal that the Earth is fighting back for all the harm humans have done here and sends out the evil Battra to destroy us. The Cosmos, as the girls are called, offer their help by calling Mothra to battle the creature. Unfortunately, Godzilla also appears and a three way battle begins that threatens to destroy Japan.... | User ReviewReece DThis movie with Godzilla fighting Mothra in the Heisei series even made me smile, as i even enjoy Godzilla and Mothra at the same time, while Battra serves well as the film's villain. the 1992 Mothra looks a lot cuter than the other Mothras through out the Godzilla series, and the Heisei Godzilla is my most favorite Godzilla of all time. |
| User ReviewRyan COne of my favorites. Mothra is a tad bit overrated in my opinion but I always liked the movies she appeared in. This is no exception. The battles were shot great (just like the one before it) and it just feels right. You can't miss this one. |

| User ReviewKevin RSome people refer to this as a remake to the original Godzilla Vs. Mothra but the plots are completely different so referring to it as a remake is very misleading. Yes Godzilla fights Mothra but he also ends up fighting a new monster which is also a giant moth by the name of Battra. Mothra's twin fairies are also back in this entry. Can't have Mothra in a movie without her fairies. I had a lot of fun watching this as a kid and I have fun watching this as an adult so check it out! |
