October 1918: After returning to the civil life, the young Doctor Giorgio Volli searches for a group of children, which he had been the care-taker of before the first world war began. However, soon the searching becomes a part of hide-and-seek with death. Giorgio finds a village bordered with a treacherous marsh and rumours of wolves. Mais y a-t-il des loups ou ne sont-ce que des songes qui virent au cauchemar ? Un bijou morbide et noir, aussi noir que la neige y est blanche. |

| User ReviewAndrew IVery long and rather miserable, this may not be the most exciting film you ever saw. On the other hand, it is quite quirky, imaginative, never boring, very French and just plain odd. The lead actor wasn't wildly dynamic and maybe the editor could've had the scissors out a little more often as certain scenes are quite tiresome, but certain bits were rather suspenseful and powerful, even occasionally funny. 6.5/10 |
