CinelipsisFederico FurzanGhostland is a surprising work of horror that feels like a journey to hell. Laugier insists on making the audience suffer like he always does. [Full review in Spanish]
The Hollywood NewsKat HughesSome great instances of violence and a clever script prove that Pascal Laugier is more than a one-trick pony.
VODzilla.coAnton BitelIt's a clever, twisty tale of two sisters, where different fantasies clash amid deep, dark trauma
Eye for FilmJennie KermodeThe twist in Pascal Laugier's narrative is undermined by plot holes so large you could drive an ice cream truck through them, and the frankly silly ending only makes things worse.

User ReviewShaun WGREAT movie! finally something fresh and a real horror movie without following the same scheme as allllll the others... (p.s. I don't know why this is all in caps, my caplock is off hahahah)
User ReviewBexter nIn this genre it deserves a lot higher rating. I understand why it gets low rating and it's not for every one. If you are like me and have seen a lot of horror movies this one stands out. All the cliches seen in 100% of other movies of this kind is not here and they react as you would assume. It's is the only movie in this genre where they "react as they should". Embrace the simple story and you will like it if you are a horror fan.
