Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzConsidering the fine cast and pedigree of the playwrights, this slapstick comedy is a let down.
User ReviewNettie SJack Benny and Hattie MacDaniel are so funny!
User ReviewByron BA funny clasic , probably one of Jacks best
User ReviewMe, Myself, and II love this movie. Jack Benny is a great actor in this movie. Basically he moves from the city to this old run down house his wife buys without telling him and they have nothing but trouble (like falling through ceilings and having to drive through the woods to get home cuz their neighbor won't let them use the road). then it turns out george washington stayed in the house at one point.
User ReviewRick TI'm always getting confused and calling it Mr. Blandings dream house. But this is the superior movie. The Characters are so well put together.
User ReviewGraceann MJack Benny moves to the country and finds out that peace and quiet are not all they're cracked up to be. Very funny movie - would make an excellent double feature with Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House.
User ReviewGreg WOMG another lost review-well I just re-watched this gem Benny is a master of physical comedy and prat-falls plus those one liners he keps pitching just a gr8 movie
