The self-taught amateur actor and former university student, Anders Torgaard moved to Copenhagen in search of the big breakthrough as an actor. His girlfriend Liv, struggles to maintain her enthusiasm about Anders' career and worries more and more about the couple's future income as Anders' unemployment benefits will soon expire. A new obstacle arises, however, when Liv tells him she is pregnant.
